Try and spen more time on the smudge. I mean, on the black arms. Take a look on deviantart, because you have an account, at others work and you'll see what i mean. The flow is there but you have to use all kind of methods like making those arms look fine.

Take a look at my smudge tho. vertical_anime_signature_by_artizy-d7q2q Curly and thin.

And decrease the opacity on layers that are used for lightining.

Neither yours aint that good .

The flow of the smudge doesnt go right , looks like you made it liquify in the center.

and the smudge is good but you missed the most important .

Blending your render with the smudge.
